How to request deletion

1. Send an email from the address registered to your NH RIDE SHARE account to support@nhrideshare.in.
2. Use the subject line NH RIDE SHARE Account Deletion Request.
3. Include the registered email address and, if needed to locate the account, the registered mobile number. Do not send your password or any OTP.
4. We may ask you to complete a reasonable verification step to prevent unauthorised deletion.

What will be deleted or anonymised

After verification, we will delete or anonymise eligible account-linked data, which may include:

• profile details and saved preferences;
• push-notification tokens and active device associations;
• active or saved ride needs and unpublished journey information;
• chat content and other account-linked content where deletion is technically and legally permitted; and
• other personal information that is no longer required to provide the service.

What may be retained

Some information may be retained or anonymised when reasonably necessary for completed-trip records, safety investigations, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, enforcement of platform rules, accounting, tax, legal or regulatory obligations. Retained information is restricted to the relevant purpose and deleted or anonymised when it is no longer required.

Processing time

We aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days. If applicable law or a complex safety, fraud or dispute matter requires more time, we will communicate the reason and expected next step.

Deleting the app is not enough

Uninstalling NH RIDE SHARE from a device does not delete the user's account or server-side data. Submit a deletion request using the steps above.
